James is the President of Degraff Systems. His role includes
sales, estimating, and design build services. Prior to forming Degraaf Systems, he worked as an apprentice, journeyman
electrician, superintendent, project manager, then vice president for a local company. His primary background has been
in the military market. James holds a Master Unlimited Electrical License in Florida. He is also a Registered
Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) through BICSI. He also has an Associates of Arts degree from Pensacola Junior
College.
His goal is to make sure that the customer is always taken care of.
Richard is the Vice President of Degraaf Systems. He handles
all of the day to day operations of the company including: Scheduling, Accounting, Employee managment, Payroll, and many of
the other tasks associated with the day to day operation of the company.
Prior
to becoming the Vice President of Degraaf Systems, Richard has held many positions of leadership in the construction industry.
Most recently he held a postion as Superintendent for Hitt Contracting Co. overseeing a nationwide roll out of more than
200 Nextel Retail Stores. From 1995 to 2001 he held a position of Superintendent for McCarthy Construction and worked
on projects for The National Institute of Health and the Carle Foundation Hospital. Prior to 1995 Richard worked
for various contractors on all types of projects. He owned his own company, S&S Enterprises in New York from 1980
to 1986. All total Richard has a total of over 30 years of construction experience.
Darwin is the Senior Project Manager for Degraaf Systems. He started with Degraaf Systems in 2003.
He manages all of the major projects to make sure that budget and time lines are met. Prior to working for us, he held
many positions with other local companies. Darwin has over 20 years of electrical experience.
Billy is the Systems Division Manager. His duties include designing, bidding, and overseeing
the installation of fire alarm systems, mass notification, security, CCTV, and othe control systems. He started with
Degraaf Systems in 2006.
Billy started working in the alarm system industry in 1997. He
started as an entry level technician for a local company and worked his way up to senior lead technician before moving to
Degraaf Systems in 2006. He has worked in all areas of the alarm industry and has over ten years of experience.
Kai is the communications division manager. Kai oversees all aspects of the communications division
including installation and estimating. Kai started with Degraaf Systems in 2006.
Kai
started his career in the communications industry in 1997 with CT Connections in San Diego California. With no prior
experience in the field, he quickly rose to the position of Senior Systems installer for the company with manpower allocation
and project managment responsibilities.
In 1999 Kai took his experience to Rancho Santa Fe Technology
another San Diego based company with over $10 million in annual sales where he was nominated by CEO Tres Conrique in July
2000 to participate in a nationwide study hosted by San Francisco State University of personal and orginizational characteristics
that lead to team effectivness.
